I designed the big “O” comb so it harmonized visually with the shop window, which is square with rounded corners. Studying the location is a fundamental part of my design process. I want to make sure the design elements work well within the physical environment, so I study the features of the building and shop, such as colors, lines etc., and make an extra effort to include these elements in the equation.
